I am having my two bathrooms redone. The downstairs is a sink&toilet
upstairs-full bath/shower-Both are small(live in townhouse)
They started on Monday-the downstairs is tiled,painted,toilet in-THAT’S IT-no light fixture at all, upstairs tile is out except for a small piece, tub is in but not ready at all-they put the walls up and that is. Sink/vanity is still in-toilet out
Am I wrong in thinking more should have been done? Should the downstairs have a light in it?
I am not home when they do it-I go to work-I am leaving early today

Most 1 way glass are actually both ways. Day time outside can’t see inside and night time the other way round. Anyone know of such glass?

I want to do a 1920’s —1940’s Hollywood bathroom. Bogart, Garbo, you know…that era? My bathroom is an alley type with double sinks, a toilet and sunken tub. No room for a chaise lounge! I’m not sure where to start. So far I have several fancy lipstick holders with rhinestones but nothing else. I have no idea what paint I should use or what other decorations I should use. Any suggestions for lights, paint, towels, shower curtain, etc…??

My friend went to Greece over the summer and she bought me a Greek pendant. It has an eye in it (she said the Greeks are superstitious about the "stink eye", and its supposed to guard against evil from it). On the outer ring it’s dark blue, then for the "iris" of the eye it’s a light blue, then white then a black dot for the pupil. (I think.)
Does anybody have any ideas on how I could transform this into a piece of pretty jewelry? Or would it just look too weird to have an "eye" around my neck, wrist, etc.?
