the rubber suction tool, it just removed the glass cover off the bulb! I still can’t get the actual bulb out and there is no room to get fingers in.

I would like to purchase 48" fluorescent light fixtures to mount on the walls or ceiling of my apartment, however the only fixtures i can find require wiring to electrical sockets. I would like to buy the fixtures then attach a plug and cord to the fixture as opposed to hardwiring them to the house. Is this feasible and how can i go about doing this?
This morning I got up and one half of the apartment doesn’t work. The kitchen disposal, the bathroom light and the kitchen and dining room lights. I checked the stove to see if it worked and when I turned a burner on, all the lights came on. Nothing like this has ever happened before. What in the world is it?
I think I’d be able to tell if the the breaker was tripped…..ugh… any real answers that don’t insult my intelligence?
I don’t have GFCI receptacles but the landlord does think it’s the neutral.
I am making an elastic band powered car in Technology and have decided to use propellors. The propellors are made out of plastic and are fairly good. I need a light design which uses just 4 elastic bands and will probably need to used at least 3 propellors. Can you help me? Please include diagrams. Thanks.
Ok, several questions, but all related:
1) I have some light fixtures (brass), I want replaced with nickel light fixtures. I was told I need to have a licensed technician for this work. Can’t I do it myself?
2) I also want to bring down some fans and light fixtures to paint in a wrought iron finish, and put them back up. Do I need an electrician for this as well?
3) What do electricians cost for switching out lights, and for replacing some light fixtures with recessed lights?
If so, how wide is it, and does that width work well for you? We’re planning a remodel and I want to include a separate make-up area with its own sink, but we don’t have much space.
Any other tips, like about lighting or mirrors, would also be appreciated.

Here is what i need to do.
1.Replace the whole kitchen
2.Take off the drop Ceiling in the kitchen and i guesss make another one and put some kind of light.
3. Put new toilet and Vanity where you can wash you teeth.
4.whole Place needs to be painted.
5. the marble floors in the living room, dinign room, kitchen, and bathroom need to be polished.
6. All AC vents need to be cleaned inside.
7. Replace carpets in 2 bedrooms with new carpet.
8. Add the Wood trims around the whole house.(Wood trims go around the walls in the bottom)
9. Add 2 light fixtures: 1 in living room, and 1 in dining room.
My question is what should be the order in which is best to do all of these without 1 thing interfering with the other one and maybe doing 2 or 3 at a time. ? Any Suggestion would be appreciated. thank you

After they are off for a bit, they pop back on??? There are 4 and they all do it? Is there some overheating trigger that does this?
Does constantly switching on / off your light use more electricity, then just leaving your light on?

Let’s say your wife or girlfriend are in the bathroom getting ready for an hour or two.
Would constantly switching on / off the bathroom light use more electricity everytime they left the room, rather then just leaving the light on for whole hour or two?
I’m having a guy come over to do some electrical work at my house. I’m having a ceiling fan put in, three pendant lights over my bar and 2 recessed in a bedroom. The fan needs a mount installed in the attic along with all wiring to a switch, the pendants will be installed with new wire and a switch too. The recessed lights will also need new wiring and a switch.
Does this seem reasonable for all this work? The attic is too narrow for me to do the work with my limited knowledge in electrical work so that’s why I would rather just hire out.
