I’m redoing my room and it’s going to be very modern. I was thinking of track lighting but that might be too expensive..and i was also thinking of wall sconces on either side of the bed. I thought of a floor lamp but I feel like they never light up the whole room. What should i do to light the room nicely and also keep it in the modern/contemporary theme? Links would be good too

i was in the process of changing over my hallway lighting to led. Now, the recessed lights are on three way switches, that have lights in them like "night lites". After the change over, I noticed the led’s had a dim glow after they were switched off. The bath lights glow after switch-off, but it kind of fades to black. but that’s not the case in the hallway. I this normal?
