The light fixture for my 30 gallon fish tank hums. First it started out like maybe a bee buzzing around your head, not it sounds like my neighbor is mowing their lawn. How do I fix this?
I meant now, not not, obviously.
I don’t wanna buy another one, they are freaking expensive lol.

Hi, I live in an older house. Different lights, upstairs and downstairs, will randomly blink lately. Very fast, like a half second and they only blink once at different times. It can be the kitchen light, or the upstairs bathroom light, bedroom light, etc. I have never noticed this before and it just started a few days ago. Any ideas what this could be?

yeah so i got this orange bedding at ikea it like white and orange and i have this queen sized bed that im getting with a big headboard and part is wood that i want to spraypaint and part is fabric that i need to buy to upholster the headboard. im 13 going on 14 so it cat be to little girly but it doesnt need to be lie i am 30. i want it to be punk / hippy and i ahve no idea what color scheme to do. i was going to ri out my gray carpet and paint the floor white…but i ahve ni idea for what the walls should be. i want it to be slightly glamourous too. i am prolly gonna buy a chandelier. i also ahve this mural i did w/ my mum when i was five that i dont like anymore i dont want to get rid of it but i dont want to keep it. i was thinking of getting smoe white corkboard and velco-ing that to the wall. is that a good idea?
please help!

can I paint a recessed light housing? I am painting the ceiling (floor josits) flat black and would like to have my lights "disappear" into the ceiling. I am just worried about the heat from the light and the flamability of the paint. I really don’t want to burn my house down. Thanks.

My husband and I have a townhouse that we rented. It has sliding doors in the living room to get to the back ‘yard’, and they put vertical blinds in front of the sliding doors. We do not have a place to store them (our bed is a platform style, so there is no under the bed, and none of our closets are big enough to fit the blinds in there), so we want to leave them up, but cover it with curtains.
I’d like to put the curtains in front of the blinds, but the rod would have to extend a good 5 or so inches from the wall. Is there any hardware I can use that would extend the rod connection pieces so I can hang the curtains in front? I’m going to hang the curtains above the blinds and in front, to completely hide them (we don’t use that door much, so the curtains won’t be fully opened, and I have a design in mind that will let light in, but hide the top of the vertical blinds).
But I need to get the curtains in front. Any suggestions?
That’s what I meant by rod connection pieces…brackets. I just couldn’t think of the word.

Right now, my room has 6 walls. (3 short red walls and 3 long tan walls). I have a queen bed, a couch, a 6-foot long dresser, and a couple of small tables. I’m re-painting my room and I want something really modern. But, I have light wooden floors.
I wanted a black, white, gray color scheme in my room but I think it would look bad with the wood flooring.
Any suggestions?

The league I run in does not allow spikes but I still need light-weight shoes. I’ll be competing in the long jump, triple jump, and 4×100m relay. Price really doesn’t matter but I would like a pair of shoes that are decent looking, please! Anyone got any links to any cool track shoes?!
