I made an offer on an REO, but since then and waiting for a response from the bank, the home owner has taken all the light fixtures and the security system. Can I lower my offer during escrow because he stripped the place, or am I stuck with taking the place "as is"?

I bought chandelier bulbs and on the back of the package it has a picture of the bulb upright then a picture of it upside down with an X through it. My light fixture has the bulbs facing downwards. Are these okay to use?
I don’t know why but I have bought every brand of those CFL bulbs to try and not one will work in this light fixture, so I’m still having to buy the old type bulb.
Just curious why I can’t use a chandelier bulb. Its not a fan.

My house was built in 1964, and there is an old simple fixture in the front entry area ceiling. Would a hanging light look best in this area? If so, what kind would you recommend?

I was provided 110v bulbs that fit the chandelier but they keep burning out. I was told that the wiring did not need to be changed because both continents use the same three wires….. What should I do?

in the ceiling to be exact. It it an inconvience to put in more fixtures? They have light switches in some rooms but no fixtures on the ceilings of those rooms.

While i’m playing modern warfare 3 multiplayer online, my ps3 turn off by itself and flashing the blinking red light occurred on my ps3. The main point is, it is only happen while playing online and playing offline (campaign mode) nothing happen even though i played quite along time (longer than online).
I am going to do a remodeling job on the house. First I plan to completely gut one bathroom and move the bathtub and sink in opposite spots. A larger bathtub and a bigger vanity with new lights, fixtures, and flooring. I also plan to replace the shower stall in another bedroom and change flooring, lights,sink,ect in that room. We are also wanting to rip the carpet up in one of the smalls rooms and make it into a laundry room. We would do painting and floors in that room too. I have been told so far I am in the 10-15k range. Does this seem reasonable or are they over pricing me? I don’t want to be taken advantage of just because its just me, my mom and my kids ( 1 is disabled) . Any ideas?
Yes it is a contractor I am going through. I told him to keep it under 20.
