I’d like to make a multi-bulb light that I can screw into a standard light socket. It’s a little hard to describe… Picture several individual bulbs, all hanging from one small base that screws into a single bulb socket. I would be happy if I could have ten or so standard OR smaller sockets hanging from one, or any light hanging by thin wires as long as the whole thing can be screwed into a standard socket. Thanks in advance!
Also, is it possible? it’s a pretty small light fixture, kind of like a pot light. is it possible to take an old extension cord with the 2 wires and kind of make it into a swag lamp? theres 2 wires coming out the top if this light.

I have a ceiling fan in the center of my room (on the ceiling, of course) and I want a chandelier, too. I asked my mom if I could get a chandelier, and she said only if I got rid of my ceiling fan because you have to hook up a chandelier to the main lighting source. Is that true? If you are kind enough to explain, please put it in simple terms. I’m only 15 (:

I want to replace the main light fixture in my kitchen, but I’m not sure what type of fixture to purchase. The kitchen doesn’t get any natural light. So I need something that will light the area well and doesn’t hang too low. I’ve considered a florescent light.
We have track lighting now and it still leaves shadows, plus I don’t like the look of it.
The chandelier is not that big, and the flush mount ceiling fan would probably comparable in size and weight. I just need to know if switching the electrical wires from one thing to another is a due able thing?

I just moved into a new apartment. Price, gym, dog park, parking, and kitchen were nice so I decided to try to fix the poor lighting and make a go of it. It is a nice place. My bathroom is small and the light fixture in the bathroom is a wall sconce. The towel cabinet door can’t open all the way because the wall sconce is in the way. I think that is a violation of some electrical code, and i might use that in my talk with the maintenance to get them to install a new fixture for me without giving me a hard time or charging me for it. After all I am buying the new fixture, and taking it with me when i move probably.
Well, due to size and wall space available my options are slim. I like a bright bathroom, and this is a water closet to say the least and the ceiling is even lower than the rest of the apartment. ‘rolls eyes’
I will probably put in some battery operated push lights under the cabinet as a little track lighting i guess. But the wall sconce has got to go. I was looking at a bathroom vanity light bar, what most bathrooms have over the bathroom sink. I found a few 3 light fixtures and a 4 light fixture. I was wondering if it would be possible to install the 3 or 4 light fixture vertically instead of horizontally?
There is only one wall sconce and no plugs close enough to install plug in lights, i saw some lights that would be good for bright light and size buy the plug is on the other side of the wall behind a door.
I’m trying to find bedroom decorations and i can’t figure out what style stuff this is.

Is there anyway to control traditional lighting fixtures using the Elation Professional EmuLATION Control Software? We will be using a mac.
When I go to the patch screen, it wants me to select the fixtures i will be using but it only lists intelligent lighting instruments. If I plug in a traditional instrument will the software be able to communicate with it? We do not have the cable or the actual software yet, we are using the trial available on the website to see if it is compatible with our set up.
I am replacing an existing chandelier with a celing fan/light combo. The switch that goes to the new location is a dimmer switch. I would like to have the ability to dim the light, but I think I would have to re-wire the entire set-up. I want the easiest thing that won’t burn my house down. Any suggestions?
