I currently have a celing fan with a light and I would like to change it out with a chandelier. I have no clue how to wire the fixture that has the typical black, white and green wires. There are red, black, yellow and a copper wires coming out of the ceiling.
Then how would I add the dimmer switch?

Or is it more likely, as some sources have indicated, that he’s simply a prima donna PIA that’s impossible to work with? I go for the second explanation.
Thank you Michelle. If you get a moment, you might want to look up the word "germane". I think you’d find it appropriate in the particular instance.

In a colonial house (built 1965), would a chandelier or a ceiling fan/light look better (or be more preferred) in a formal dining room?
I have a chandelier hanging over kitchen table. I would like to put up ceiling fan with chandelier light. Is there a way to covert mini chandelier using switch for light and pull chain for fan.
The chandelier was my favorite thing in the whole Opera House! WHY?!!?!?
I’m originally from Switzerland. My Mom just passed away and I took her favorite antique chandelier with me. Looks like the wiring in the arms is fairly new, I cut the main wire off when I disassembled the chandelier to put in my suit case. Can I use the wiring in the arms and just replace the main wire or do I have to rewire the whole thing?
Thank you very much!

this is an outdoor light fixture on a pole that takes two small (candle shaped) chandelier bulbs. One bulb will shine brighter. One bulb is 15 watts the other 25 watts. 2 25 watts will be too bright versus a 15watt next to a 25 watt, but I don’t know if this not a good idea to have two bulbs of different wattage in the same light circuit.

I have a chandelier light fixture above my dining room table which takes 6 light bulbs, 3 of them are out. We don’t have that light on much so I keep forgetting about it. A few minutes ago I had it on while folding laundry on the dining room table and I smelt something funny which I’ve smelled a couple times over the past few days but wasn’t sure where it was coming from but I think it’s coming from the chandelier from the blown light bulbs. Is that something that normally happens?
well i found this chandelier that after cleaning it i notice it has a W or M (not sure what side is what) engrave on it is not a stamp i have search the net for four days now and i cant find an answer to this .. the chandelier is brass with 10 porcelain roses
