I like the look of those round or six-sided windows, usually located next to the front door (mine will go there and should help to illuminate the stairwell). The wall I want to put it in doesn’t have an electrical outlet but being next top the front door, there are light switches and the porch light on the outside. I’ve done quite a few ‘do-it-youself’ projects including some electrical, such as replacing fixtures, assembling (including the wiring) a chandelier and replacing light switches and electrical sockets. Is installing the window something I should be able to do? Does anybody know where I can find installation instructions online?

I have forced hot air heating. In the summer, the air conditiner works continuously but the upstairs remains hot where the air collects in the hall at the top of the stairs. In the winter, the downstairs is cold because all our the hot air ends up in the upstairs hall. Will I benefit from replacing my foyer chandelier with a ceiling fan? Any drawbacks to this?
Joseph Stalin once demanded that 1000 pound of "tonnage" of chandeliers be made each month. Stalin didn’t care who bought them or how many were sold he simply wanted 1000 pounds of chandeliers.
To meet the Chairman’s quota the company figured out that by making less and making them heavier they could meet the quota……who cares if they couldn’t be hung without collapse any ceiling….
Welcome to Obama’s version of Joseph Stalin 1000 pound chandelier economy!
Ive just bought two chandeliers, and they say E14 light bulbs, however ive searched everywhere and the only E14 bulbs i can find are all screw base. My lights do not appear to fit this, any ideas?
Thankyou
will they have to be rewired – is this expensive or will I have to buy a converter and where will I get these from?
These are like spiral windchimes, made from acrilic beads. They are about 3 or 4 feet long.
I’m redoing my room, and I think a chandelier would really complete the room. But the problem is I don’t have an electrical source in the ceiling that would light up and hang the chandelier. How else could I have a chandelier? I was thinking get the same one and just dont light it up, but i’m really not sure.

a) what horizontal force would be necessary to displace its position 0.15m to one side?
b) what will be the tension in the wire?
