instead of having the light rewired, i was told i could just buy european bulbs with 130 volts and want to know if that is a safe option. i hung the chandelier and it works!! just want to make sure i’m not going to burn down the house!

Im taking a pottery class and I would like to make parts and things that will hang, but I would also like it to light up as well.
What things will I need to make it light up around the pieces?
The parts that the light bulb will screw into, etc.

I just bought a chandelier from urban outfitters, but it’s not a real chandelier. It didn’t come with no wires, it just came with an electrical cord. I have to plug it in everytime I want to turn it on. Is their a way to connect the chandelier directly to the wires that connect to the switch, that way I don’t have to keep plugging it in all the time?

Can my mom change the wiring or plug to 110V even if I send her a chandelier from a country which uses 220V?

I want to paint the walls a deep red color. Will that look good? Also, what color/colors should the curtains be? There are only windows on one wall and they take up most of the wall.
I also have 3 white framed 16×16 mirrors I want to put on the wall across from the windows.

I want to get a new light fixture, will installation be a problem if I buy a 3 light chandelier or 6 light chandelier? I may even hire a professional to install it, as I know nothing about this kind of stuff, but will they charge more if it is not a 5 light? Someone please shine some light on the matter for me (ba dum chh)

a sconce is something that holds lights or candles, and typically you hear of wall sconces. Chandeliers also hold lights, would they not be considered a ceiling sconce? I think so but my friend thinks other wise so I was just looking for some more opinions?

would like to make a paper one out of nice paper for a sweet 16 party. any one know where i can find a stencil and/or how to make one?
