I have a taste in gothic colors and art and need that style to show where I live. Maybe a dark ish purple or blue? Any ideas? Everyone knows studio apartments are small but still I don’t want white or really light colors. Any help?

My room is really boring and i wana spice it up a bit. I really love twinkly string lights especially when used on the ceiling or hanging behind your head board. I dont really know how to put them on the celing, wall etc. or install them w.e. and i was wondering if anyone knew how to cus and explanation would be great. Also are there any other string lights ideas for the bedroom besides hanging them behind your head board or on your ceiling??? I saw a kid wearing a shirt with an equalizer on it that pulsed to the beat of music and I saw two guys at a football game on the news wearing sweatshirts that had lit up designs on it that are animated. What are these shirts called?

If an area based on the lighting design is having a 200 lux reading as its average illumination level, can one directly measured it using a light meter and would the reading be 200 lux as what have been designed?

I am interested in a plain kota doria sari (or perhaps lengha choli) in white,off-white, ivory, gold, moon, jasmine or other light colors. I don’t mind simple/elegant embroidery, but I do not like very lively designs. If you can recommend a seamstress or tailor who would be able to do this, that would work as well.

This is for an event that will be held outside, so both comfort and style are important.

I somehow got roped into doing the lighting for the amateur company I’m a part of. I know enough about lighting to do a basic show design and the equipment needed etc, but the director wants a cyc and I do not have any experience with them at all (I’m usually just the stage manager aha).

I have a bad back and most the pressure is in my lower back. A rolly back pack would be a pain in the ass in the hallways so Im trying to search for a different design that would be lighter on my back. Thanks!

I’d appreciate your opinions on that. My friend thinks they’re tacky, but I don’t. I’m making a card for my graphic design business; it’s a dark gray with abstract lighting with white logos asymmetrically layered over it, with simple words in a light teal so it’s not monochromatic.

I have worked in many school productions, and a few professional shows, and I love it!
I wanted to know the best way of getting my name put out there, and the best way to ensure I get some jobs out of it, This really is the way I want to go, I have had loads of experience. But I’m getting more once I turn sixteen. I have had a look at college courses designed for lighting, and apparantely there is some form of university on Lighting and such.
I would just like a bit of guidance please and any information you can spare me.
