I’m looking to get a new notebook and I am a lighting design major for theatre and dance. I definitely need a CAD or Vectorworks program along with instrument schedule but does anybody have any specific recommendations. I would like a small netbook, no larger than 12" screen
I am awful at making decisions. The colors/ designs choose from are: a very light pink, sunset orange, hounds-tooth, white polka dots on any color imaginable, or a french manicure. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated!

I am hooking up a cigarette lighter that is always hot. I pulled it out of a Geo Storm 92 and am hooking it up to wiring of my own design. I am inclined to believe that the cylinder is negative and the point at the end is positive.

I want to design and build a simple circuit with lights that will indicate if any door had been opened and remain lighted up until i reset that circuit. I am planning on using a magnetic switch as a trigger. Please let me know if anyone has anything on it?
I’ve read through many previous questions, so I understand that I need to remove the current finish with a chemical. Do I still need to sand? There is an intricate basket weave design on part of it – do I need to sand that part? (If so, advice welcome on sanding intricate designs…) If painting a dark navy blue on light wood do I need to use primer first? (I understand they now have dark primers).
Where do you connect them and is there lights that are designed for computer mods and cancome out easily
