Okay so I was trying to find out what type of lighting they have in Starbucks (because I want it in my room)….I know they just switched to like LED but the yellowish light they have in their stores is it just their light fixtures or the type of light bulb. Because florescent lights give off this weird color. So I was wondering what they use. Thank you!

I want something that plugs into a standard light bulb socket, that is just another socket that has an adjustable angle. Also I would like that other socket to have a directional shade around it. Like the kinds of light you see on track lighting in restaurants. If this exists where can I pick one up?

Just have to remove the old light fixtures and replace a new one and the ceiling is low

Ok so i was told to buy the Ceramic infrared Heat emitter bulb by zoo med witch is and the dimmable clamp lamp witch is by my local pet store because they last for a long time like 5 years and there are ones that dont dim that are half price and bulbs that are half the price to and they said that thos only last for a week so im just wondering if thats true or are they just trying to make a quick buck

Can I use a regular florescent light fixture with aquarium growing bulbs on my aquarium? I am upgrading my tank top a 90 gallon and don’t think the max 20 watt light fixture will be enough anymore. I have a glass top for the aquarium so the light fixture won’t be getting wet from humidity or anything…….

I want to update my lights for my planted 29 gallon 30 inch long fish tank. I am not sure however which lights would be best. My two options are a quad fixture with 24 watts per bulb or a double fixture with 65 watt per bulb. Which limiting system is better and why? Both fixtures sell for about the same price so I’m not sure which one to chose.

Also, is it possible? it’s a pretty small light fixture, kind of like a pot light. is it possible to take an old extension cord with the 2 wires and kind of make it into a swag lamp? theres 2 wires coming out the top if this light.

I want to replace the main light fixture in my kitchen, but I’m not sure what type of fixture to purchase. The kitchen doesn’t get any natural light. So I need something that will light the area well and doesn’t hang too low. I’ve considered a florescent light.
We have track lighting now and it still leaves shadows, plus I don’t like the look of it.

Is there anyway to control traditional lighting fixtures using the Elation Professional EmuLATION Control Software? We will be using a mac.
When I go to the patch screen, it wants me to select the fixtures i will be using but it only lists intelligent lighting instruments. If I plug in a traditional instrument will the software be able to communicate with it? We do not have the cable or the actual software yet, we are using the trial available on the website to see if it is compatible with our set up.
