i was told that you can get the L85A2 on modern warfare2, however now that i’ve got the game i’ve noticed that you cannot, although you can get the L86 LSW (light machine gun) which is similar. So can you actually get the L85A2 or not?

No, you cannot. In the multiplayer, however, when an L86 LSW (light SQUAD WEAPON) is on the ground, the icon to pick it up is an L85
No I do not believe you can.
