I’m looking for chandelier ceiling fans, but not the kind that seem to be readily available everywhere as "chandelier ceiling fans".
I’m trying to find the kind that has the fan part close to the ceiling and then has the chandelier part drop down from the middle of the fan.
I’m interested in the more contemporary lines. Do these even exist?
Currently all I can find is where the fan and lighting part drop down from the ceiling together, which wouldn’t work for my purpose!
Any help/links would be greatly appreciated!
TIA!

If you are looking for a ceiling fan where the motor portion of the fan mounts directly to the ceiling without a short rod, then you can call that a hugger ceiling fan, flush mount ceiling fan, or low profile ceiling fan.
I am going to assume that is the type of ceiling fan you are referring to. If that be the case, then you need to find a place that can supply a variety of such fans to choose from where you can customize it by choosing the motor housing, blade finish and light fixture that works with your decor.
Home centers do not offer much or any customization of their ceiling fans, nor do they offer very good quality. I would suggest shopping at a specialty ceiling fan shop where they are more capable of customizing fans to meet your needs.
You can find such places by searching with these keywords:
"hugger ceiling fans"
"flush mount ceiling fans"
The website below will certainly have the best selection of customizable fans as well as professionals who will help you design your fan over the phone while you are viewing their site.
You’re looking for a flush mount ceiling fan. The others have hanging bars and are for tall or slanted/cathedral ceilings. Remember if you find a flush mount ceileing fan you like you can get a seperate kit for the lighting. That way you aren’t restricted to only the fan/light combos on the shelf.
I’m not sure if you’re in the States since you refer to it as a "chandelier" ceiling fan but Home Depot and Lowes have plenty of them online and in store. A local lighting store should have them as well.
