i am replacing two light bulbs in the garage with two tube light fixtures…. currently both lights are controlled by one switch. I want to have a seperate swith for each of the tube lights. I have a picture drawn on how the wires are connected right now…both at the switch and at one of the light bulbs. I can send the diagram as needed.

If I am understanding you correctly you would like to add a switch for the second light fixture
so they may be controlled separately. It will require you to put in another 14/2 romex from your switch to the light fixture which you would like to separate, the connection of the fixture will be the same as the first the switch will be a stack switch and you will only have to connect the whites together and the blacks to the switch.
