My suggestion is to take a look at the LED battery lights they have. I've seen them on a swivel/pivot so you can aim them. To install wall mounted lights they need to go up into the attic run a wire don and fish it through a hole on the wall but you can also buy some lights that don't need that they are wireless , I will try to find some keep looking at my answer I will add to it .
