I told my builder awhile ago that I wanted brushed nickel plumbing fixtures and door hardware in the same. Now that I am shoping for lighting I tend to like the darker finishes such as nutmeg and other assorted finishes that are darker.
It may be too late to change the brushed nickel order, would it look silly to have darker lighting fixtures in the same room as brushed nickel?
Should the baths be the same since the finishes are so close together?

it would be fine to have darker finishes with the brushed nickle in the larger rooms, and yes if possible, keep the same finishes in the baths.
