Take out two bulbs and run them for a while to see if the transformer load is too great.
Take the light fixtures out of the ceiling to see if they work OK in "free air" to trouble shoot if they are overheating, or blow air on them as an experiment if you cannot take them out.
Also make sure the transformer is not in a hot place.
Yes. The insulation is either too close to the fixtures, or the ceiling joists are too short in height to allow air flow around the fixtures. To prevent over heating and / or a fire, they will shut down until the temperature reaches their safety level again.

Could be one to two things. Your transformer is over loaded and you need to buy a larger one to cope with running 4 lights.
The other is roof space. The transformer gives of a lot of heat and if your transformer is in a confined area it will overheat, or even a really hot day heating the inside of your roof space can do that.
I had that problem I my walk in wardrobe, so I got rid of the transformer and changed it over to 240v mains voltage, then used 50w Halogen lamps. They still look the same as low voltage lamps but they don’t use transformers.
