I tried to hang a track light on the wall, but there is a humming sound whenever I turn on the power, why?

When I removed the track light from the wall and turn on the power, it was quiet.

	the transformer might not be made to be mounted sideways. is this a wall light unit or ceiling one?

	im going to guess the transformer is vibrating against the wall or housing
