I’m having a guy come over to do some electrical work at my house. I’m having a ceiling fan put in, three pendant lights over my bar and 2 recessed in a bedroom. The fan needs a mount installed in the attic along with all wiring to a switch, the pendants will be installed with new wire and a switch too. The recessed lights will also need new wiring and a switch.
Does this seem reasonable for all this work? The attic is too narrow for me to do the work with my limited knowledge in electrical work so that’s why I would rather just hire out.
if he works an 8hr. day, making 50/hr., that’s good for him! (it’s good for you too).
Electricians have standards for their industry, and you might want to see first if this person is certified. It would also be a good idea to make sure they are bonded.
