I am buying a spec home. Kitchen has black granite counters, dark hard wood floor, silver appliances, dark grey backsplash and light grey walls with white trimming. I get to choose between ivory cream or dark chocolate brown cabinets..which ones should I get??? Kitchen has a lot of natural light but I still feel kitchen would be too dark if i get chocolate brown..but if i get cream it would look too modern..what do you guys think? And what color dining tables/chairs should i get? color curtains? help!

With the grey and the wood floor…..I would go with cream. You can embellish the cabinets to give them an old world feel with trim and hard wear.
Something that works beautifully is creating a 2 tone look with your trim..if you match the wood floor color or the grey with a rope dentil or egg and dart under the crown it will tie the room together and give more of an old world feel.

I would go with the ivory cream color. It seems the room would be a bit too dark otherwise.
