What are the best light colors to use for a hospital effect in a play. And what type of lights to use to get the affect? And where to station the lights on the stage to get the best results. I would love someone to answer who has lighting design experience. best answer will be picked quickly. thanks all

I would use your overhead lights ie. Fresnels, parcans and separate them with a harder focus so you can see the individual beams on the stage floor. Don’t space them too close together, try to create the effect that there is actual overhead lighting in a hospital room. I would keep the lights white for this. Then fill in the rest of the stage with a blue wash from above, and depending on the mood of the scene dim the white lights and intensify the blues. And then just a nice amber face wash. So lots of blues from above, and evenly spaced white lights from above too to create illusion of actual building lighting. Blues and amber used to create mood. Good luck and be creative with it. The lighting makes the show.
It’s blue
