Hello,
Have a look at the grays and see if they are warm grays (brown based) or cool grays (blue based). This will dictate the type of scheme that compliments your bathroom as mixing warm and cool grays could be too fussy for a small bathroom. You could enhance the oak cabinets by adding some more warmth into the bathroom - perhaps match the cabinets to the flooring (avoid natural wood on the floor in a bathroom though) with an in between shade on the walls. Warm neutrals work well in bathrooms, think of the soft colour and texture of driftwood, carry this through to your towels, soft furnishings, shower curtains and window dressings. Neutrals also mean that you can add a bit of spice with select splashes of colour in the accessories etc - which you can change and update as often as the seasons. I personally like my bathroom to be warm, filled with warm beiges/browns/creams - like a cup of frothy cappuccino with a hint of dark chocolate to finish! Best of luck with your project.
Regards

By not painting the walls the gray in the room will almost act like a neutral. Colors that would complement the gray would be in two groups...warm or cool colors...gray can be both. Cool colors: teal/aqua, light blue, lavender/light purple. Example would be a pretty light blue shower curtain, large charcoal gray bath towels, teal/aqua hand towels and lavender washcloths.
Warm colors: off white, a deep rust and chocolate brown.

It's all perfectly neutral so you can go any direction you like. If you want it to POP go with a brighter color like turquoise, red, green. If you want restful feel add some soft green and/or soft blue.
