		<description>A ceiling fan will help somewhat.  I had the same situation and installed a ceiling...just closed it in.  It gave me extra footage on my second floor. I don&#039;t know how it would look esthetically for your or if this would be something to fit your budget but it is something to consider if you have two HVAC zones.</description>

In summer, it might also help to have a window open upstairs so the hot air can rise and escape. Pick a window on the downwind side of the house and maybe open one on the upwind side too, not a lot, just enough for air to move through.</description>
