I have vaulted 9 foot ceilings with recessed lighting throughout my house. Almost every bulb in the house is out so I need to do something. (I’m a procrastinator). I don’t have a ladder and I don’t really want to buy one. I called a handyman and he wants to charge me . Give me a magic answer…

Find a guy that wants to be your boyfriend, then make him change your lightbulbs.
simple its worth a trip to home depot go to the electrical guys in the store describe the problem they make a tool for removing the old bulbs from the underside and then buy an extension pole from the paint dept .. im a house painter and do this type of move everyday
Find a neighbor with a teenage son and ladder, offer him $20.00 and i’m sure you won’t have to look very far before finding a young kid to do this for you.
Buy a small a-frame ladder. They always come in handy. If the bulbs are exposed there are poles with bulb grippers on the end.
THERE ARE TOOLS FOR THIS SORT OF THING, GO TO LIKE A LOWES OR HOME DEPOT AND THEY WILL BE ABLE TO SHOW YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO REACH THE BULBS AND CHANGE THEM.
make your arms longer…..use a pole with a gizmo (your own design of course) that will grab the light bulb so that you can unscrew it. Am thinking a piece of plastic plumbing that will just fit over bulb , then put a layer of silicone on the inside with bumps and let that dry. Fasten to the pole and vi o la a bulb grabber thingy.
GET A LADDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Search for "light bulb changer"
You’ll find telescoping gizmos that are designed for just such a purpose.
Some are very inexpensive (under $20).
You can probably find one at your local big box hardware store.
