i mean overall, like i think the most disappointing part of the whole game was the multiplayer, because i think it takes no skill to commandeer an AC-130 and blow everyone up from a mile up in the sky, same with chopper gunner…and especially what is cheap is "marathon/light weight/commando pro/tactical knife w/ a 44 mag…personally, i was happy to see that Activision fired the president and CEO of infinity ward, and surprisingly a lot of people i know are too. when treyarch works on the call of duty games they turn out better, hence WaW. even though juggernaut and steady aim on the mp40 is cheap as well but thats one thing, not the whole game (MW2). Nazi zombies and realistic gore in the multiplayer is enough to drag me to WaW and away from modern warfare 2. what are your alls opinions?

Don’t forget the noob tubers, the quick scopers, the nuke boosters, the one man army glitchers, the overpowered akimbo model 1887’s which act like a freaking sniper rifle! I mean the range is ridiculous. I also hate the hitmarkers you get with sniper rifles sometimes even if you use stopping power without silencers, sort of kills the whole ‘One Shot, One Kill’ legend. The immaturity levels are also worthy to note, not to mention painkiller. The maps are ridiculously filled with campers, since almost every map has some sort of building that a camper can use to exploit. Oh and the people who use launchers as a close quarters weapon that ends up biting them in the ass. Don’t even get me started on having no dedicated servers, game gets closed in a middle of a match, sometimes teammates abandoning you during a match leaving you taking on the enemy team by yourself (personal experience) and the hackers leading the leaderboard. Kinda long, but that’s my 2 cents.

Well I do enjoy the knifing but I agree it was a disappointment compared to the first MW but still overall really good.
I actually loved Modern Warfare 2 because it was so personal. You had a lot more free choice and things to do on it from the last game and all the ones be4 it. However, if <3ed the Nazi zombies and play almost once or twice a day. So no for me it was not disappointing, however a lot of fan made hype I had for it was destroyed but thats mainly it.
i agree mw2 wasn’t all that great sure it was fun for the first couple of games but it got really old quick compared to the other games
MW2 is an amazing game. Everything is individually balanced. The perks, the guns..
But, of course, the community is abusive. It’s the minority of players who abuse things such as noob tubes, tac knives, and One Man Army that ruin the game. In a competitive or controlled setting (such as a dedicated server), it would be an amazing game.. But when you have a game as popular as MW2, there’s always gonna be someone who’s trying to do things the easy/cheap/gay way.
I generally avoid those types of people by playing only regular TDM and Search, but I run into them every now and again..
I have to say, when I get frustrated with this game, I get REALLY frustrated, but otherwise I’m pretty much enjoying myself. It’s like alcohol in my opinion. Good in small doses, but too much can make your head hurt. ;P
PS. Treyarch fucked up with WaW, I’m sure they’ll do the same with Black Ops.
Ramiz took the words right out of my mouth… I’ve put so many hours into it only because I’m obsessive and like leveling up, but even my quick reflexes and aiming skills are no match for n00b tubes and akimbo shotguns so I’m yelling and cussing half the time I play. World at War was near perfect, the fact that they can just recycle the engine and release a new game each year means that the games might be getting progressively more half-*ssed.
