I just got a new ballast and bulbs in my light fixture and now when I flick the switch, the lights stay on. I have 3 lights fixtures in the room all controlled by the same switch. The only one of the three lights that does not get turned off when I use the switch is the one that just got the ballast and bulbs replaced. Anyone have any idea? And is it going to cost a lot to fix this problem?

If it was fine before and not after whoever changed the ballast did their work, they might have mis-wired something. Call them back and make them correct the problem at no cost.
I’m going to guess ghosts and/or gremlins. If I were you, I’d get a fork and a screwdriver. Use the screwdriver to take off the switch plate and then ram the fork around in there until the lights shut off. Should be all set.
I can’t think of any reason other than that light is not on the switch that you think it is.
Yep, I agree with dmg. The ballast got wired into the unswitched power instead of where it should have been.
When you replaced the ballast, you had to connect
to a power lead, (Black or Red).
If the fixtures were used as wire-ways, (junctions & splices),
it’s possible that you connected to a ‘power’
wire instead of a ’switched wire.
Were there two colored wires, (Black or Red), through
that fixture?
I’m guessing you picked the wrong one.
It is wired wrong. Call an electrician to wire it properly for you.
givin some of the electrical advice that I have seen givin here Mark isn’t that far off and probably even safer. But I would use a plastic fork.
